Containing greatness

The organisers of the oldest international sporting trophy asked Containers and More to help design bespoke container conversions for use as part of their team's workshop, store and offices overseas. We took their briefing with some confidence since this prestigious client's requirements were precise, and their reputation and global heritage brand meant they had exacting standards to maintain..

We enjoy a professional challenge and our 15 years of experience told us that we could deliver everything they wanted within the timeframe before their major event began.

The containers we helped design for them had to be CSC (Container Safety Convention) plated, for shipping and for the marine environment/ oceanfront, where their containers were to be located.

For a similar customer the local climate required dual action air-con (heating and cooling) and the team wanted roller shutters for ease of access by their staff. The buildings had to accommodate not only meeting rooms and canteen facilities for team members, but also two large generators, IT rooms, fabric making shops and a maintenance workshop.

Shipping containers give a versatile space for many sizes of rooms and buildings when combined together. They are ideal for bespoke construction designs and can be surprisingly affordable when compared with traditionally-made buildings. Factor in the portability of containers and you have a very good value, durable, fit-for- purpose construction solution for offices, storage, staffrooms, washrooms, workshops, classrooms and even for residential housing.

The bespoke oceanfront project was a demanding commission requiring a high degree of input from all the designers and fabricators to complete the project as expected.

Containers and More has a UK-wide network of depots, a helpfully creative team and all the expertise and technical know-how to turn your idea into a container conversion that matches your exact requirements.
